Advice Needed Octagon SX88SE

Other thing I can try to feed the octagon with fix dish output and see if that resolve the problem.
 
It can't be the lnb. If ok into the TV sat tuner . Downgrade the firmware mate and see what happens
 
Got it octagon is working glitch free on other fixed dish feed.
defiantly lnb on Gibertini is problematic.
next step is to try old lnb on Gibertini.
 
i didnt realise u had a separate dish setup for tv sat - yes, LNB then - ive had that happen twice - strange issue - happens out of nowhere, one day fine, next day - glitching.

Just Sharing This - Glitching channels at high signal

so I was watching tv in the kitchen (one sat feed 28.2) - on Saturday and i noticed glitching and signal going from 16.8db to 13db and up again, on some channels (Forces TV, Sky News (sd) - Ii thought it was being caused by the rain...but yesterday, on a fine day, i noticed same thing - the LNB...

anyway at least you know the issue now.
 
Is it an Inverto Black Ultra? Been quite a few troublesome Inverto LNBs recently.
 
for me, yes, IBU glitching on my motorised install - and the second occrence, was an Icecrypt lnb on my fixed 28.2e - not sure what LNB Gladstone has....

im using Inverto PLL LNB now, and have a spare of same type, just in case (got a ebay bargain 2 for 25 quid or something)
