We know the Thompson HD's have been abandoned, but interestingly now so have some of the others: Pace, Samsung & DRX780 Sky+HD boxes will NOT receive the R011 update

Hmm. I have one of the Thompsons. I still works fairly well, even after the HD guide was installed (it's slow, nevertheless).
Also have a blue card with yellow house - which is what makes the box usefui. Hope it stays that way, and it would seem to be since the R011 is not affecting this box...

Check the power supply capacitorss in that Tommy - they are notorious for sudden failure as the caps go out of tolerance

Which Amstrad box do you have? The DRX780 won't get the new firmware but the DRX890 will.

Odd, more and more on DS are saying their blue cards no longer work with R011. Does your box have the new software? (New recordings in the planner are now shown at the top of the list)
