Old skyboxes (drx-100/pace 2200) wanted

That reduces your choice even further - the egg logo was discontinued in 1998 prior to the launch of Sky Digital - so only the very earliest sky boxes will have got that printed on the front
 
Ah, a drx100, with winter on its way they do make excellent room heaters.
 
The 2200 was almost as much of a pile of junk as the drx 100 was!

No idea if there is anyone on the forum who can help. However knowing the amount of dilapidated and redundant old receivers the members of the forum have lying around you have a better chance here than elsewhere :D

Why do you want pm? No-one has suggested they have one yet...... At some point soon you will automatically upgrade (no dont ask exactly what the number of posts is - I dont know) At that point you will have pm facilities. If neccessary one of the admins will upgrade you before that if someone offers you one.

Nothing even remotely Sky oriented here, though I sometimes pick up items from old installs where the person has moved address, or cancelled their subscription.
 
May I ask why you want those two models in particular? Would it be the PCMCIA type interface (for future expansion) within the box - used by one company (Logicele?) to provide a USB connection to record content on a PC.. This interface was I believe not completely implemented on later boxes.

Just had a look in my museum/shed .... Amstrad and Pace here .... but i think not quite old enough ?

try Cash Generator for cheap old Sky receivers, they normally sell them for £5-£10 & always have loads, they pay a flat rate of £5 to people selling them.
 
the amstrad digibox drx100, should says in label on bottom "4F0101..".
the pace 2200, should says in label on bottom "9F010..".
 
Yes, I seem to be collecting old crap from the 90's as well!

The only thing I have is a recent Sky HD box in the loft, potentially a Panasonic box somewhere in my parents' loft (lovely box that) and an SD Sky+ one.
