It actually does get used in the C-band rx stack for sniffing out weak signals that the TBS card or the Technomate just can't manage. I have no plans to part with it at the moment but i am awaiting a new receiver that might just take it's place - won't know for sure until i test the new rx's tuner capabilities. I'm already sorted with the Chaparral Cband scalar ring thanks to Feedsat-DXer who very kindly donated a brand new one free of charge.

Ahhh! OK. How are you finding it? I just want to get away from my tried and tested F15 and Enigma2 (which is annoying me more and more) but for it to be simple enough for occasional feeds...

I am sorted now! I thought the Mini only came with a card slot, rather than CI?
