Please recommend best TBS DVB card

I bought a TBS6983 last night, same seller from California tech_item, order confirmed, etc.. but I fear that we all got ripped off, or they are all returned defective and resold as good ones, let's hope that ebay and paypal will refund

did you see the post on satellite guys? where a user wrote that on ebay there was a seller who was selling a 6983 for 50 dollars
but these days there is another user who was selling his entire system in bulk and in the package inside there was a 6983

I read that post, the complete setup he is selling is amazing value for $500 USD if it is the same advert you are referring to.
If that was UK or in reasonable proximity in Europe I would have been there with a van as soon as possible.

There is a Von Weiss actuator in among the equipment, that alone is worth his asking price for all of the kit.

Of course, it's an excellent system at a very low price 3 meter super piston antenna, Titanium positioner, tbs 6983 at that price is free

ok, so today there are three of us who have taken the same thing as written today my package is in Switzerland and the delivery is expected in the next few days, when I open the package I will see what I bought
if a 6983 or something else, if I have received something different from the original almost certainly you will also receive what I received

The TBS6983 card is one of the best they ever made, even without S2X.

While waiting for 6983 to arrive can anyone describe any significant difference(s) between TBS 6903x & TBS 6909x, please?

Interestingly with the pair 6983/6903 suggestion favours the "older model", is it the same with the S2X case?

today the TBS arrived it is a 6983
it seems that both tuner A and B work well
I also did a blind scan at 58 west in C band and it gave me these results
I have to test it well but it seems that the seller sold this card in good condition at a great price
I hope that my 2 colleagues on the forum will also receive the 6983 in the same condition as mine
I'm rooting for you
there is something in particular that I have to try to be sure that it works in all its functions

here on 40 west (also read 58 wst) it found me 49 TP of which 42 receivable and 7 below threshold

these are my impressions of the tbs that I installed in my PC
6925 excellent sensitive tuner card negative note 1 only tuner and no signal block with low SR
6522 medium sensitivity card tuner lower than the 6925
better than the 6925 only the possibility of S2X in crazy the spectrum is not good and sometimes it is bizarre
6903 X good tuner card with sensitivity lower than the 6925
for the rest we all know its behavior
finally we arrive at my latest purchase 6983
excellent card far superior to the previous three it only lacks the S2X but it is not a problem
very sensitive tuner even better than the 6925, possibility of finding tp below the hook threshold, full compatibility with Blinscan 2
very fast scans with crazy
to make a long story short I consider it the best card produced by TBS

this is my personal opinion then other experts better than me will have others judgments, iola I think so

It probably failed to convert them to webp.

Mine should arrive according to ebay tracking between January 28th and February 6th
But following DHL tracking number it should arrive on January 23

The tracking seems to have stopped for 5 days
There has been no change since 14/1/2025

Let's see who's right?
