New users with Yahoo anhd AOL Email Accounts seem to have problems locating the activation Emails.

For some reason they sling them in a junk mail folder, please look there for your activation Email, you may have to use webmail, better still, user a better Email provider, as you don't know what other important mail is being junked.

If you go into webmail and find the Email, please mark it as not spam and put it on your whitelist, the only email we send out are for activation, thread updates if you subscribe to threads and a couple of newsletters a year, so you won't be bombarded.

Sorry to post here but I have not received mail on my yahoo (there is no mail at all), please is it possible to send ma again or activated may account...
Thx

Activation email sent again, check your spam folder

Have just sent another.

I am still having probs.....cant see it anywhere do i need to change my email address?

Not had a problem with your mail provider before, send me an email via your registered account.

OK, have received your Email to activate your membership. Created a new account with a gmail address and sent an email from the forum. It went straight into the spam folder in outlook imap account. Can you check there and add domain to safe list please, you may have to do it in webmail.

OK, have sent another, but the first one will more than likely be in the bulk mail/junk mail folder, please put us on the white list.

Hi Admin,

I have registered my account couple of days. But for some reasons I am not able to post (only can reply to a post like this one). Secondly, cannot able to PM anyone.
I registered and Activate the account .

Help please.

Thanks

Your Account is activated.

Ive resent the email. I see you are an AOL user, so please read the info in the first post in this thread :)

You may need to log into the AOL webmail interface assuming there is such a thing - its been over 10 years since Ive played with an AOL account.

We have also seen a few instances where our activation emails are failing to be delivered to Plusnet / Plusnet sub domain company email accounts. This is nothing to do with us - our email address seems to be blacklisted so they never get delivered.

It appears to be a problem with their ironport spam firewall, which in turn seems to be part of Cloudmark. Problem with this is that if enough members are lazy and instead of logging into their accounts to switch off forum emails on subscriptions to old threads, just mark as spam on their Cloudmark desktops, then your address is blacklisted.

As a long standing Member with a Plusnet account, I'm just carrying out a test with Admin ............... which so far seems to prove beyond doubt that that ISP is unilaterally and universally blocking our Forum E Mails.

PS: Don't blame me, as I never use Thread Subscriptions anyway!
