Help Required Raven 1.8m motorised dish/polar mount instructions needed

No just what came with the dish.
Then currently there is no point in delving further with front end issues until you have a substitute.

I alluded to the mast earlier, based on your first post image


There is a distinct possibility that the weight of the dish at different angles will distort the arc no matter how rigid the post and clamping plate is.

I would suggest locking up the polarmount to its true south setting and moving the dish over to one of the weaker satellites, then adjust the elevation to locate the strongest signal. Once you have the besty alignment then start playing with the feed system to optimise the signal.
 
Update

Well guys it looks like we've sorted it!

It was the lnb position that was wrong. I struggled to get it facing any higher up the dish face due to f connector pushing up against the bottom arm of the lnb holder .
I've placed the lnb upside down on the holder (its an inverto with the coax coming of a stub on the bottom) and the signal has gone up by an amazing amount.
I then rechecked the polar mount with a spirit level and noticed that there was the tiniest bit of lean towards the eastern end of the ark.
a few minor adjustments and that was sorted.
then rechecked the arc and...... 30 east 84% 1 west 100% ,30 west 100% ,34 west 70% then moved dish over to 7 west and would you believe it 74 % (12.2 DB on 11.315v) which is the best strength I've ever had it.
then checked 26 east and it comes in at 90% on some of the stronger transponders (none of the others are below 10 DB) which again is the best I've ever had it.
Then there was a surprise.. checked 28 east and all of the BBC channels are 100% but some of the others are as low as 70% (9.0 DB)
Astra@ 19 east is around 85% Hotbird 90%.

Just shorten the feedarms for a couple of cm, and you will get no issue that LNB-connector touching the holder.

Good result, you may find there is too much signal on the high powered satellites, so a switchable attenuator may be next.

That's just what I was thinking too much signal on the strongest sats over loading the tuner.
not too worried about it though as its only the weaker sats that I'm after. I know it is now on the arc and that's all that matters.
Just noticed that in 14 west I can get the Russian channel again (3.0 db) I read somewhere that this one is really hard to get in the uk so I'm very happy.
