Receivers which work with the MR and those which don't

TM-5700CI and MR 1.04 works moderately well, occasional freezing and re-initialising on some tps and rai channels, however wont decode sky italia !!

I have an wchostar 3600ip and and Matrix revolution cam, I wonder whether you could help by telling me how to use/ enter the AES keys. Many thanks

A lot of the advice said initialise the cam in another receiver....well that would be fine if I had another receiver.....If I had another receiver I wouldn't need the Humax!!!
I have now decided to sell the Humax and buy a Technomate, hopefully life will be a bit easier with that receiver!!

So as far as RolfW's survey goes I would definately give the Humax CI 5100 a thumbs down.....I tried and failed!!!!

i have had a (very unused) ci 5100 for six years,still boxed,i could never get it to work with any cam dispite software upgrades.recognised cam sometimes wouldnt decode anything through it.at the time £200 down the drain.

Hyundai HSS800ci Works well, but havent tried with uninitialised MR.

What I've heard.

Humax 5400 Works with the MR, has problems with initialisation after flash upgrade, but can be made to work
Hyundai HSS1000ci Doesn't work well at all with the patched embedded CAM.
Comag (Lidl cheapie) Works, not sure about flashing.
Echostar Whole range appears to work
Samsung 9500 Works
Nokia 9800 Works with some sofware versions

I have the same setup and cas3 Matrix-Reloaded, but clears for 60Sec then scrambles again then 10Mins later it clears again do you have the same problem,can you help. D.J.
 
i have a amstrad drx550 and a matrix rev cam does this work having probs getting it running got a cas 3 to help me along the way
 
Could someone please tell me what 'MR' means.

No CAM slot, so no workee.

it has a cam slot in the back but cant seem to get any extra channels i power up box with cam in screen goes black for about 7 seconds then it goes to fuzzy screen i power on the box all the same channels ????
 
That's a PCMCIA slot, not necessarily to be used for a CAM module. Not for domestic use, don't stick anything in there!
