Advice Needed Receivers with the lowest Symbol Rate?

Oh well, if you wanna get that technical, indeed RT270 is the tuner, the user sees Si2166D as the tuner description.

Can you check if it is a Silicon Labs device ?

The last time I saw an all in one DVBS(2) tuner/demodulator it was made by Philips (and that was a while ago)

Theoretically to the point where nothing useful is received on screen.

Does anyone know if there are any receivers that can do Symbol rates in kS/s ranges below 1000,
I know that some PCI cards can do it, but are there any receivers that are able to go really low in the 100's range?

I'm actually glad cause it shows the power of the Silabs tuner, however I would be really complete if the driver they issued had the full potential of it, like real time readings, and above all blindscan!

the Dreambox with the same tuner has blindscan, why Mut@nt didnt implement it is beyond me

Just for the info, here "we" have lock a 100 ks/s SR with TBS6983:
Satellites Community

And for fun, 4 years ago I made a test with a DVB2000 tuner and locked a SR @ 185ks/s (Radio @30°W)

No tuner finds all low symbol rates on auto search. Also at the card dvbs you have to search them manually.

aye i noticed the other day some low symbol rate radio stations were missing from my channel list, so manually scanned in the missing ones & there they are

Octagon 8008 blindsacanned and plays 11675V on 23.5 with SR 874. Quite good. Octagon SX88 goes "only" around with blindscan 1600.

would this be up to date ?
