Advice Needed Receivers with the lowest Symbol Rate?

After some effort, in fine tuning the positions in the vbox2, i managed to lock 542 Symbol rate, It is stable.

Here's Radio Mars (Morocco) on 30E. It's identifier is Q-bit so I guess they did not change it from the default.

I could not lock it using CS on a 6983, presumably because it is relatively weak.

It's true that a weak signal doesn't really help such low symbol rate, but you can lock 11695 V with Crazyscan, but only manually.
Recently I was at 30.0W and, as usual, I always try to check this difficult to lock frequency, sometimes even with CS.
Only on the third try I managed to lock it, and only if I chose 11694,750 MHz. But this is not a rule in all cases, because the app doesn't read below 100 MHz, you can't set the search steps as small as possible as EBS pro has.
As you know, there are many physical factors that contribute to the successful lock of such parameters. I would also include ...perseverance. :)

That's the key! The 6983 card I was using seems to be about 400kHz low at this frequency. However, the target had to be set around 250kHz low. It also helped setting search to DVB-S. With the settings shown, it locked every time.

There is something strange with the Minitioune. Most of the time the MER was around 8dB and the constellation noisy. However, reducing the input level with an IF attenuator and using an earlier version of software, the MER was close to the SNR shown by CS. It only showed the higher MER occasionally. Checking on a 4Ms/s signal, it behaved properly and the input level was not critical.

Thanks @EnoSat for pointing out that I put 30E where it should have been 30W in my earlier post.

It is interesting to me that you have such a large reading? Does it only appear at this low frequency sr? Do you also have something similar at other frequencies. I suggest you try the scalar ring, it might reduce the interference of the low sr.

Unfortunately I don't quite understand what you're explaining (the translation programmes don't really help).
Are you talking about BER? If that's what you mean, it's true that it only appears with very, very low SR, but that only concerns E2 receivers.
with a TBS 6983 card no problem

I put the dm900 back after a period of rest, i thought something was wrong with the tuner, it couldn't find low symbol rates. But it managed to find this one at 5.0 west.

I only used the dm900 to find feeds, low symbol rates is new for me.

Also, the Novra S401 pro is able to lock low symbol rate, like Radio Maria at 3.1E on 12578 V,255,1/2.

Success at last...........this afternoon after the sun had dropped a few degrees lower!

8.0ºw
12622 V 00144 DVB-S

1.8m Maraffa PF...........Receiver:- Uclan-Ustym-4k-Pro-Twin-S2X (Silabs tuners)

As always with these lower SNR's the BER read was high but always drops to '0' after a short while.

After 'Lock' multiple scans failed to reveal any services/channels.....not so surprised with the other nearby broadcasts.

Would not lock using frequency of 12621 or 12623.

Remember the wise word of our valued member 'satesco'.........perseverance. :-applause

End result for me, well pleased. :D

For SR-144 use dvbsnoop -s pidscan and manually add the detected values to lamedb.

congratulations.
especially at this location where there are four frequencies very close to each other with very small SRs.
I managed to receive three of them but the one with sr 144 is (at home) not visible because the frequency with sr 257 is too close.8°0W_2501131028_12619-12625 V .jpg12620 890-vert.jpg12621 468-vert.jpg12623 256-vert.jpg

Hola 'EnoSat', I hope all is well for you in your life.

Long, long time since I last used dvbsnoop and was with a Dreambox and looks like was using version 1.4.50.

Now using Uclan Ustym Pro Twin with system, image etc details as attached.

Would appreciate you guidance on installing latest dvbsnoop version, normally I use the 'Terninal' in Webif.
Remember if correctly that the path is usr/bin and 755.
¿Will I need other file dependencies to install?

The correct Terminal commands to use with this will help jog my memory!

Thanks for this 'EnoSat', enjoy your day. :Y

I use classic dvbsnoop from the feed
Code:
opkg update
opkg install dvbsnoop
By command
Code:
dvbsnoop -s pidscan
I will display all active PIDs
Code:
root@osmio4kplus:~# dvbsnoop -s pidscan
dvbsnoop V1.4.56 -- https://github.com/OpenVisionE2/dvbsnoop

Since the AVL6261A has a problem with Scan at such low SR (SR-405), I edited the lamedb manually.
Code:

And I have sound and RDS
