Does anyone think we will soon see the HD version of Perviy Kanal on this bird ?

Bare in mind alot of the channels if not all are not even 16:9 yet however there are alot of 4:3 with hd versions but give it a year and fingers cross
 
Don't see why not - at least not yet. There are loads of Russian IPTV providers out there with Kartina.tv considered to be one of the best. I've also tried Sovok and some others. HD on my village internet only plays for a few seconds at a time and SD is *usually* OK but still get the occasional stuttering.

Depends on your line really.

OK I tried Novoe tv a few times with the free 3 day trial, worked very well on my Amiko Alien, the sub was quite cheap really for a years worth but the HD channels would not play too well though, the SD version was about 4mb/s so good quality...
 
We can discuss IPTV solutions all day long if you want to - as long as the service is legal and there is nothing dodgy going on. :)

Just had my dish fixed after the winds and I am not getting a trace of 11.134 H Is anyone not getting it ?? I presume it may be off because of the sochi olympics ?
 
I had signal of about 11.5dB but no audio or video was visible on any channel on that TP. I rescanned it and it all came back.

OK I see, I don't understand it, nothing with me. LNB problem maybe but everything else appears to be ok

It has to be the elevation which is off obviously, I don't know why the sat installer or me did'nt think of this, D'oh !
 
The Russian mux is by far the weakest here - its always the first to disappear in the dish moves a fraction
