Several members can watch Showtime in Europe with just a smart card and a receiver with Irdeto 2 CAM support, so I don't see why you can't watch it with the dedicated receiver.
You probably need a large dish pointing to Nilesat 7W. How large will depend on your location in the UK.

By the way, can one located in Europe buy a Showtime card from Saudi or there is a Copyright restrictions to sell it only in several Arab countries as shown in their website when you try to make an online sub.
It might be worth it to find out about this now while you are in Saudi and extend the validity of the card for another year than to try to buy a new card from the UK. The rip-off factor can be upto 2-3 (cost 200%-300%).

M8 I see in your location as North West UK.

I am at Manchester and I need a 2.4mtr dish to get the full showtime package.

My 1.5 dish only gave me the V beams.
 
Showtime cards are only for use in the Middle East and they can cut you off if they find out you're in Europe,but your supplier should be able to renew the card with a phone call. Mine has and this is my second year.

I am on the Wirral and was wanting a dish for the same reason, where did you get your mate.....BTW I am a Sat Installer, Thanks....do you get the beams ok....should I go for a 3M

I cant get horizontal beams in the midlands on a 2.4m dish, Vertical are okay. Not many people i believe are getting this bird.

3m might be okay who know's mate.

OK no problems, only the odd drop out if it pours down.

I have linksat LS-900 receiver which works via internet..i did retuning for all channels, unfortunately failed to connect to server...Any help pls??

when showtime is begining,to sending in dolby souround dts?
i wodering,why so a rich country like dubai,sending in normal stereo:D

i have a adress in switzerland where you can order the orginal showtime card,but its very expensice,nearly 400€! for one year!
also i found some dealers on google in uk that selling multichoice south africa cards much more expensice :)+++

That's because they pay no attention to detail or quality.
 
I recently installed a 2.4m dish in Stoke (Staffordshire) and after much messing around got the Horizontals in at 50% which brings in the showtime network with no trouble, verticals are running between 60 & 70%
