Showtime, ART & Al Jazeera Sports (7w)

Al Jazeera sports 1 and 2 are FTA.

There are no keys for Showtime available as far as I know.
 
One way that some people go after Showtime/Art atm is via various cards (one of which even requires a particular category of receiver e.g some echolink etc brands).

Personally, I have never really thought these cards worth dabbling in --- but apparently one has lasted about 2 yrs more or less and another about a year more or less.
 
Some sports channel from there are still UP on some EMUs....

I just got from Egypt an Irdeto smart card for Jazeera Sports (7w) :)....the problem is that this smart card is strange...:confused:...it is not written Al Jazeera sport or nile sat....I can only read Irdeto and some sentences in Arabic.

Currently I'm in The Netherlands so I can't receive nilesat and so check this card...only in Italy I can ;)

I made a scanned copy in color, can someone take a look if I send it by e-mail? Or do you know how a smart card Al Jazeera sport looks like?

hi revdes...I have this card. Where is your location ? I toowant to watch these channels in India..if we are close to each other we can make use of this card.

These channels are on Nilesat 7W
Check first if you can receive this satellite.
 
Nilesat is not availble in India...but i'm banking on Atlantic Bird 4A.
Did any body try catching ab4a signals in india on ku band?
 
no the spotbeam Ab4 is much more going in east direction of arabic reagion,here after satelltie change 1,90 m is the minimum dish size what you need now,before on the old satellit 80 cm was enough!

art working on abracadabra and echolink,but some key change every month!

If you look at his profile hes in the Netherlands and Italy.

7W isnt any really any good to you anyway - its almost on the horizon in Mumbai so unless you have a perfect view out to the west you wont be able to get it.
 
yeah buddy I can see horizon very very clearly i.e. arabian sea from my balcony..so shud I install a 8 feet Ku dish?

What card? If it's the Al Jazeera card try 26E or 13E. Should be much easier for you.

Mine's Viaccess 3.0. It works fine on Hotbird and Arabsat and all of the Al Jazeera sports channels run Irdeto encryption in parallel with Viaccess so your card should work there too.
