Yes it was drprozac, silly me, too many ales !!!
I bought the 183 one.
I received email today saying they would activate in the week.

Will keep you posted.
 
Would these cards work ok in my old Technomate 5400 CI+USB receiver?

And what package shows more Premiership - Calcio or Sports? Looks like Sports is good for Eurosport etc too.

I'm not sure on that, I bought the receiver to use the card in so there wasn't any issues.

I went for calcio as a few games are shown on these channels, you can go for sport instead this has eurosport and espn america included.
 
It's just me then that's having the problems.

Original reciever as well.

Been leaving it on SKY UNO (109) to try and get the updates.
What channel did you leave it on, or was it just flicking around that sorted it.

I've got the sports package rather than Calcio so not sure if that's the difference.
 
mmm...... strange, I also got sport package, sorry dont remember what channel it was on when it updated.
Probably Fox retro, (Charlies Angels) love watching Cheryl Ladd and Jaqueline Smith !! lol:-)
 
Interesting I think my card was already active, I didn't have to wait for the channels to come on at all worked straight away.

do you have the latest software on the receiver too ?

Have latest software on there.

When I lost the channels I think the box reset to the welcome channel 999
Mini me, when you got the channels back did you go to channel 999 or did it just work.

I'm really stuck on what else I can try, I know the EPG is updates on fx +2, but I just used Sky UNO as that is what the activation letter said to leave it on.

Would be nice to get the hd channels but not really the end of the world, and for the last couple of weeks I've not really watched it that much, as I've been busy with other stuff at home and too much work.
 
My card was active as well when I got it, and at the time I had all the channels, movies, sports, news, Calcio, documentaries, kids, etc.
All of them with the hd versions as well.

Then after about a week, I lost them and just hd sports documentaries and no hd channels.

So I don't know what happened.
 
Another reply, and again told they will be done in the week again.

I got excited yesterday as I had message on screen from sky, but it was just about the free weekends.
I can't ever remember having one of these from sky uk, so that was a new feature for me on the Italian box!


Just have to wait and keep pestering.
 
Hi Guys, sorry been away from Pc for a while, and have to report my HD is no longer working.
Just checked now as have been away for the day.
To answer your post, I didnt need to reset or go to any channel, it just worked
Will be sending an email shortly to see what the situation is, and keep you posted.

strange as I've not had any problems here, all channels working fine that I paid for.
 
I've had too E-Mails back in the last 2 days, both saying will be working by the end of the week (again)
I'm starting to loose faith.

I think I'll be in the same situation this time next year, and will just have the SD Channels.

Glad yours are all working OK WOD.

The only thinng is mine and "mini me" both have in common is we have the sports pack not calcio.

makes me wonder why the seller was doing 285 cards with the same channels we have if the cheaper cards show the same ?

Is it all hd or just sky sports hd that is not on ?

I've found with the calcio card is that serie b is extra and I wonder if champions league is extra too because really we have got a bargain.

I would have gone with sports but wanted to have the most epl games and I already have at the moment $ky sports uk.
 
Yes it's all the HD Channels.

Not got any, and if I select the list from the TV guide, it says the card isn't activated for them.

I really can't see it getting sorted myself, but will be happy to be proved wrong.
Just wish I went for the cheaper version he sold now, as it looks like these gave the same.

Never mind, just thought the cheaper cards seems to good to be true!

Well HD still down, same email as the Doc about "next week they will activate."
Did notice something though which was strange, I had all channels and all bouquets 2 nights ago.( except of course PPV). And of course no HD !!! grrrrrrrr..
So maybe they are still sending "activation signals "

Anyway will keep you posted

I was thinking whether you had got a faulty card but all the channels would not work if this was the case or a fault with the receiver.

Was that on the Saturday/Sunday?

If so that was the SKy who put the channels on and you should have had access to the Primafila Channels as well.

They are doing the same this weekend, but instead of the Movies it's the Calcio Channels.

You should have had a message from Sky in the Message Postal Setting saying about it.
It's to Celebrate 5million Familes.

I've still not got any HD, will be sending him another gentle reminder tonight.
