I would guess they're just testing the transponder without anything on it.

Considering this system is only a back-up anyway, I'm not convinced they're very likely to change it from plain DVB-S2 to something more hidden, as that would likely mean they need to install a load of new decoders at all the transmission sites. Why bother, especially when the footprint of 15°W is tighter anyway. I could be wrong of course!

11043V locks with TBS6903X, but there's nothing useful to see in TSReader.

As you saw yesterday on this thread, there is a great hunger for information about 11043 V at 15.0W.
Some users can see beyond the dry figures displayed in the app.

Can confirm that it locks for me on TBS6903X with a list of jumbled random PIDs in TransEdit as described by @Llew

BBC Satback Package has Launched on Telstar 12 Vantage @ 15°west 100% SQ here in West Essex UK.
11043 V 44103 QPSK 9/10 DVB S2 Encoded in Biss
Same channels as Intelsat 901 at 27.5°W

All Change here now since I looked at this transponder yesterday
I still have a signal not steady as before goes from 100% SQ to zero =No lock
Several transmission types being tested atm ?
Maybe it will settle down later.
 
Yesterday all services where present in the SDT. It looked similar to 27.5W but no channels
would decode. Most services also reported as "unencrypted" and all without video pids (as reported
above)

FYI: on 2.75W the procedure is/was to manually set the video pid to the correct one.
You also need to have an oscam provide the keys for each service_id/video_pid combination.
None of that is very easy get right but it does work in neumoDVB.

neumoDVB implements this to support those official cards that can still be used without a cam device.
Their number is decreasing, because it is desirable to annoy viewers with CI+, by forcing them to view
commercials and prevent recording or watching recordings after their subscription expires.

Such progress should of course not be stopped....

No success on 15W yesterday and no services today (also as reported above).

Mahoosive signal right now in Northern England. 93%SS and 83%
SQ on an 80cm dish that actually aligned to 14W, not 15W ( Been way below zero all day so I ain't going to risk trying to move my motor.
 
When i looked at the footprint of North-Sea beam i was quite confident that with a little spillover i could tune the new SatBack TP here in northern Italy with my Laminas 180 but.....

They are definitely playing with the modulation on 15W - on my old TM5402 the signal strength is flickering from 0 to near near full strength (13+db) over a couple of seconds. I had absolutely nothing last night - and I left the receiver running for well over an hour. Zip last night, some sort of varying modulation this evening

No signal with my 2.4m dish in North part of Italy, near Milan.
Satback lost here, bad luck. Well, I'm not so unlucky as I can move my dish to 28.2E.

I don't have a lockout with the TBS 5927, but this is what it says in EBS pro, in DT mode.
