I made an attempt to blind scan several sats today without any luck. My 5402 m3 will not blind scan. I have had this receiver for quite some time now and this was never an issue for me in the past. Reboot and fw upgrade to the latest did not rectify the issue. Any ideas folks?

What is your dish set up ? fixed /motorised ?
What software is in the receiver ?

Thanks for the reply. Motorised on my 3m CM mesh with fw 1.39p from Oct. 12. All sats from 31.5-135w all scanned in.

The software is capable of Blind Scans so your problem may be with your dish alignment & connections,
Do you have another receiver that you can try to eliminate your possible dish reception problems.

Probably not the same problem as you have but my 5402 M3 had a little tantrum the other day that sent it unstable after a mains outage , a "factory reset" sorted it . Might be worth a try

No issues on reception as most tp scan in at or over 15 db and my vu+ solo2 blind scans without any problem on the same feed. I normally do a factory reset after a fw upgrade but I neglected to do that today, all well in the blind scan now. Thanks gents.

If you done a factory reset did you load a new channel list or just using the pre installed

I previously had saved all info on my usb.

You could try loading the original TM software to see if that works.

My blind scan issue has been resolved, factory default did the trick. Unfortunately my keys need to be re-inserted which can be quite tedious.

You can upload keys to the USB as well as channels, but it does not save the P****Vu keys.
