Turksat 4A Ka Band A now active

The mux on 18774L has left

And now the mux on 18739L has gone as well. The one on 18710L remains and is a good signal here.

Hello everybody! Today i managed to set up my 90cm ka band 18ghz dish, 12 db on gigablue uhd trio on 18709 via Turksat, the rest on 42E are zero now, i read here that they were suspended recently. I tried multiple times 39E, sorry for the offtopic, still no success on zambia mux ka 39E with 90cm offset dish in central east Bulgaria! Also with this size Astra 1L with ecutv and itv no signal on linear polarization. Wish you all best and i want to know in the appropriate place of course how much is 39E ka weaker than turksat ka because i see 42E is very strong here.

Hi fereshte Yes I reported the other two muxes at 42E had gone but the remaining one on18709L is strong and I'm glad you managed to receive it with your 80cm dish. The mux on 39E is still there [ I can see it on the spectrum display] but I haven't managed to lock that signal for a long time and I have a 1.2m dish. At 19.2E that racing channel Ecu TV should be OK for you to receive but the ITN Newsnet feed is weaker than it used to be and I haven't locked it for ages. There are others on this forum with even bigger dishes who may like to comment/// SimonE

From your previous posts i see that the african muxes were also strong, i hope they will be back again.

There's still something lurking around at 18.774 L & 18.738 L at low level here with me on a 1.2 Gibby, North Notts UK but too low .

Re-checked it in the early cold hours, still no content but the GTMedia Combo recognised the presence of 18.774 L & 18.738 L - signal too low or just empty carriers ?. 1.2mtr Gibby-17k North of Nottingham.

Thanks for checking :Y .... the Ka beam really gets a bit thin by the time it gets into the UK and even thinner when it works it's way up country. I'll rig a temp LHC only lnb up on my 2.2 PF when i get time and see if i can do any better.

John, I see exactly the same here and have informed Lyngsat.

a greeting
what type of lnb do you use for this frequency range
and what is its cost and where is it thanks

Right now
18.710 12.500 11.54 dB clear pictures
18.739 22.500 6.6 dB stop and go pictures
18.774 10.000 6.6 dB stop and go pictures

LNB DirecTV SL3K4RO-01 LOF 20.450 with SUP2400 convertor
ChannelMaster 1.8 m

Same here with my CM 1.8, but my Hughes is setup for linear not circular. And the LOF is incorrect.Screenshot_20221204-122113_Finder.jpgScreenshot_20221204-122126_Finder.jpg

moved modded lin horn in focus 18.710 10.8 dB at V 8.5 dB at H

18774L is a bit stronger today and has locked OK here. Its DVB-S2 QPSK FEC=2/3. Six channels within for Crystal TV.

Same with me here..20221210_122336.jpg

Here at the location, the 18738 L and the 18773 L are a bit worse today. Only the 18709 L has full power. But it also snows a lot.
