Tv registers 154 channels but no signal on any channel

It'll be a wideband, they'll have sent you the wrong one, just swap out for a quad universal and it should work.

OK, that helps. Bought the dish too long ago to complain so I'll have to bite the bullet. Any recommendations on make or model to purchase?

If it is a wideband LNB, a BLIND scan would bring programms. Does your receiver have blindscan?

Or in that case changeing the LNB oscillator frequency in your receiver would bring at least some programms, I guess (those with IF between 950 and 2150).
Or via a manual scan, using a calculated new frequency from wideband LOF to normal (universal) LOF.

A two-output LNB could easily be a twin LNB.
Can you report what is on the label of the LNB?

Sky haven't provided a twin LNB for the minidish for many years A33, so if it is new and has two outputs it will be a wideband.

Which Freesat box do you have? These are typical symptoms of using a dish from a previous Sky Q installation - only the Freesat 4K box operates correctly with the Sky Q LNB. Swapping to a Sky Mk4 quad universal LNB usually solves it.
