Why do I get these errors when I start spectrum scan in stream reader?
And then if I go to auto scan, it gives me another error.

But is the program working for you?
Only check this if you have a SMA/NWT4000 device attached and don't forget to specify the correct COM port!
 
Yes, the program works after unchecking the box.
I see COM port 1.
But what do I need this COM port for?
 
I see that the MER measurement is in line with that of the SW.
Excellent.

The software simply scans for available COM ports upon start. If you connect a SMA/NWT4000, one of the COM ports will belong to it and you can select it.

If you don't have this device connected, just ignore this combobox.
 
Fantasic feature rich software from VMA many thanks for all the skill and time you have put into this.

Has anybody used the export transponders to Altdvb feature? Not working for me currently. I get the ini file from VMA streamreader but Altdvb V2.5.0 is not liking it. I am trying to import from the Altdvb Scan window.

I'm also getting error messages during my test. I still have to test the latest software. Updates are coming out so quickly that it's almost impossible to keep up with testing.
I'm still very grateful to VMA because he's developing this great program at such a rapid pace.

I dont use AltDVB. Can you manually edit the file so that the transponders are rea and then send me the befor and after file?
 
I also tried the Ka-band. Everything works perfectly in the linear scan. The program even handles my odd LOFs (19197). Where it has some issues is the DX scan. The results aren't entirely conclusive with CrazyScan, and some frequencies appear twice. I think I'm making a mistake in the settings.

Thanks to our colleague VMA and the improvements he has made to his application, those interested in listening to DAB streams can now do so with the latest version of the VMS StreamReader app.

Hello,

I am still waiting for two files:
1) As exported
2) Manually corrected

This will allow me to fix this, as I don't use Altdvb.

VMA Sorry for the delay but I am struggling to find information or examples of Altdvb Transpoder.ini files to be able to define the corrected file. Can anyone else on the Forum please help with information about the structure of the Altdvb transponder.ini import file or suggest a way forward??

I'm not sure if this is the type of file you need. If so, I hope it helps.
