Hi all,

Since I bought the Solo2 the other day, I have no need for Uno any more, so it's for sale. An excellent receiver, which I had since 2011 without skipping a beat. I thought about converting to twin tuner but it made more sense to buy a newer receiver.

It's in good condition and I haven't even taken the film off the front panels. Will come with original box, remote, manual, power cable, HDMI cable, hard drive connection cable as well as screw fixings.

All Vu+ receivers look similar. Can't you sneak one in without her knowing?

I would like another box but I am waiting to see if Technomate release their supposed latest receiver.......I have to be careful as she is already refusing to clean my den with so much clutter and cables.

As i dont have any other Vu+ receivers that could be quite hard, she always manages to spot any new receiver everytime, even if i try to hide it :-lmao

I also have a tendency to go for the less well known receivers as i like a challenge :D

I went for the Xtrend ET9500 and what a mistake that was. I really like the VIX image but its so unstable on my Xtrend i have had to use something else. Currently running OpenPli which isn't my favorite image but at least it doesn't keep throwing up the tuner failed message like it does with VIX every time i watch something off the HDD.

I purchased a Formuler F3 receiver the other day as its seems well supported by most teams and not many people have them. That was just before you listed the Uno, so i'm a little annoyed at the timing, but hey i still have my TM5402HD and two Android boxes to get shut of before i think i could get away with getting something else new. Just waiting for the new fan to arrive so i can fit it before the 5402 gets put up for sale. Its noisy as f**k at the moment.

I played around a lot with receivers back in the noughties (occasionally with some of the best ones - DVB2000 on Nokia 9600 springs to mind). I just want something that works these days.

I use Egami on my Atemio box. Not perfect but I like it.
Never knew there was a fan in the 5402 or did you install it for the hdd.

The TM5402HD has a small 40mm fan on the side of the box which is factory standard.

I wanted to use Egami on my ET9500. I was sure they supported Xtrend boxes at one point. Sadly that is no longer the case.

Mine must be dead or very very quiet........

The receiver has been sold. Once the buyer is happy with the purchase, I'll close the thread.
