I am not renewing my Sky contract and setting myself up with Humax box freeview. I think I have plugged everything in ok but I get a message. The receiver is not receiving a signal or the signal is too weak. Any solutions would be apprectiated thank you.

Freeview is Digital Terrestrial TV - via a Yagi aerial, usually.

Freesat is, I suspect, what you mean. And I suspect you're suffering the common problem of having a Sky Q LNB.

(Shan't say more, as my Hon.Friend has beaten me to it!)

Yes Q.
Got TV going now but not live. ITV player BBC hub etc. So can watch series like Heathrow and Emmerdale but not sure how to find live TV.
I pressed so many buttons, not sure how I did it. Frightened to turn it off now case I can't get it back. Using two remotes. All confused.

Sky Q uses a different type of LNB (the bit on the dish the cables connect to), so the frequencies it sends to the receiver are different to what the Humax is expecting. The LNB will most likely need to be changed for a Sky mk4 quad LNB which cost around £20 or less. A photo of the dish will help to confirm this.

Unfortunately that photo is not close enough and detailed for us to be able to identify the type of LNB - but from your earlier post it does appear that you probably do have the "Q-only" version of the LNB.

Therefore, as indicated earlier, you need to buy and fit the one @ozumo identified in post #5.

The dish looks to be a mk4 - an LNB like this one will be a direct swap:
