Your wxsat pictures

OK, I have later versions of both (1.0.0.1672 and 2.10.12), what operating system do you have on your PC?

OK after playing around a bit I have found the best settings (at my end) for this stuff.

For the audio, it is, RECORDING= 1ch, 16 bit, 22050 Hz (AM radio quality)...For the PLAYBACK= 1ch, 16 bit, 22050HZ (AM radio quality)

For WXtoImg, in the RECORDING options, the sample rate is set to, 22050.

This is the best shot from last night with these settings, looks to be the best for this software.

I use an old Dell with W7 ultimate on it....Works great on this side of the big pond.

FWIW I use a mixture of Home Premium win7 32bit & win7 64bit on my assorted computers, but mainly 64 bit on the sdr computers.

If anyone is interested in how to put the text onto the pic its in wxtoimg options - text options.

Capture.webp

I increased the font size in line 2 to 16 otherwise its not readable & put my location in as 2 lines at the bottom.

You can change to font if you wish but I rather like that "Star Trek" style.

Very useful that.I normally save scans with the MEL and LONG label.I will be usefull to have some satellite info on the image. It would be nice to get the longitude on there as well .Some more settings to play with.I inserted the MEL and LONG before the scan

I am getting some good scans lately.I altered the points from 26 to 30 on this scan.Lots of fun to be had trying different settings.Perhaps red text will show up better.
