on Eutelsat 33C/33E @ 33.1° East new frequency
12597 V 10058 8PSK with DVB-S2X Programs.
the same programs as on 12621 V d.h. TMC HD Suissse; TFX HD Suisse und TF-1 Suisse HD

The signal from this frequency is very strong, coming at 16.7db (well you cannot count on HD51's driver but whatever) while the other one comes at 12.0db!
 
Signal here with 2.4m + SF4008
Yesterday evening:
12597V 12.5db
12621V 12.8db
This morning (now):
12597V 11.8db
12621V 13.2db
 
I was waiting for this moment, as 33E has coverage in India too. :rolleyes:

But I have query, the channels are in DVB-S2X technology.... will my normal mpeg4 receiver be able to tune it ? or any special receiver required for it ? :confused

Normal receivers wont tune DVB-S2X - you need one with a suitable tuner! If you have a modern flatscreen tv with a satellite connection you might find it works - some LG models definitely work.

At a guess its really only a test of new compression technology. S2X is barely used anywhere in Europe - there have only been a couple of transponders lit up so far. 33E is an ideal test location - theres very little of any interest on it so few people have a dish pointing that way. The uplink company can make whatever technical changes they want to without affecting anyone.

These 3 channels had quite some significance to Asian trackers... why, coz of some hot contents.... TF1 suisse etc..
When these were taken off from eutelsat 9e, people were disappointed..

and now, that we have coverage beam, we still have to put up wid this silly experiment of theirs, S2X !! :-nutkick
 
There are satellite receivers that can handle S2X, the VU+ Zero 4K, for one, but no doubt there are others.
With Kodi, and other internet options, you can view nearly everything, you can imagine, with out needing to view S2X signals.

there's only 1 beam, the european wide beam... it has coverage in my area...
which beam you are referencing here ? :confused

I was seeking a simple answer, that the tps are on 33C satellite, and not 33E, and that would have done it for me, as I was fairly relevant to the ongoing discussion in the thread.

But anyways, thanks for answering my query now... and to @Mickha bro as well. :rolleyes:
 
as per latest reports...

12722 v tp is off.
12621 tp is off (S2X one)

pls confirm.... chances of em now being shifted to 33E
 
Indeed,12621 V is off,instead is now moved to 12598 V with the same parameters(10058,25/36,8PSK-S2X),and 12723 is there,active,with strong signal,both at 33.1E!

thank u for the confirmation.... but are they on 33C satellite or moved to 33E satellite ?
 
In my opinion,12723 V is on Eut 33E,because the signal has increased much lately(before it was weaker),since the Swiss pack moved to the current slot-i.e. on 12598 V,which seems to be on Eut C(the same signal strength as before).
I'm not entirely sure, but,of course,my opinion is more empirical than a scientific one confirmed by from the satellite operator.
