Yes I think you're right but I watched the previous world cup in 4k on TF1 4K. Maybe its a possible that we have to wait for Roland Garros to finish otherwise after Sunday they will have nothing to show.

Update on Rai 4K's coverage games are offered with and without Italian commentary

the biggest drawback is the delay though :(

The pictures from Copenhagen are terrible. HD no better than SD.

Those in my area can receive without problems TRT 4K at 42.0E. Execelent signal with 110cm dish, almost 14dB..Now can not check, but I think with a 0.90 cm too.

The picture on TRT 4K is spot on for the England game.

TRT 4K is 3 seconds ahead of BBC 1 HD and 3 seconds behind BBC Radio 5 Live

The shutter speed on the main camera, and many of the others, is far too slow - as soon as it moves detail dissolves away.

I don't have a dish on 42E at the moment to check but Flysat is saying TRT 4K is encrypting in BISS during matches? There's also now a FTA version on the 4A Turkey beam.

Yes TRT 4K is now encrypted in BISS :( and the signal is bad for me

I've got a solid lock on the TRT 4k transponder on my 1.5m Gilbertini. But I don't have a 4k receiver so tried to tune on my 2015 Samsung 4k telly. It finds TRT 4k when I search FTA on that TP but when I try to watch it says it is encrypted? All other FTA channels on 42E seem on work fine on the Samsung, its just TRT 4k that isn't working. I thought it was meant to be FTA?

Any ideas?!

There are two TRT 4K channels, listed on 42E, one is encrypted, using BISS, as mentioned by mikeisyou, the other is listed as FTA.

Which frequency is your television picking up?

Ah thanks. I've got the 10980V which is the encrypted one.

The FTA one is 11767V but this is Turkey beam which I assume I won't get in UK.

There are some BISS codes for TRT 4k on youtube but I don't think I can enter these on my Samsung telly as it has no CAM, is that right?

Has anyone been able to decrypt the BISS? If so I might be tempted to get a cheap 4k receiver!

yes :Y

Is it really worth it for a few matches? By the time a new receiver arrives your team may have already been knocked out ;)
