Strange that you only had about 3 dB difference, while here 7 dB.
12264 V back to usual dB value and healthy constellation.

Edit: 12303 V 26400 DVB-S2 QPSK 3/4 also back to normal strength, almost 19 dB.

William-1 why posting wrong SR ? Please blindscan!

The signals are so strong here now you could probably get it on a 45cm mini dish.

The switch to DVB-S2 is good, 1.5 dB more margin and 5% higher bitrate.
No need to be compatible with SD receivers anyway, with all these HD channels!

Yes DVB-S2 is a definite improvement of the signal quality

I am not even going to try since I know I'll get it. ....and I am out of satellite positions on the F15 .. grr!

The tank is fine, SAT1 fireplace and the sound of the logs to burn ..... record a CD with 30 minutes.
Working since 1990 in multiscreen, could work and enjoy the evening (I sleep little).

Could be my receiver, on a blind scan it's reporting 8PSK but doing a manual scan with QPSK instead it still tunes in OK.

Definitely QPSK ever since the transmission started the only parameter that has changed is the modulation from DVB-S to DVB-S2 so it looks like your Vu is giving you false readings on the Blind Scan.

Yes I have a similar fault with the SpiderboxHD9000 shows the transponder active on QPSK & 8PSK only the DVB-S2 to S seems to work Blind Scan chooses 8PSK much the same with a lot of these mass produced receivers with the fec display being non functional as well

Both transponders down here no signals at all looks like someone has pressed a button in the wrong place again

12303V gradually coming back.

Please ignore the satellite position this is on my 100cm set up just getting the signal over the rooftop,
90 cm set up is the same no signals from 52 east & this has a clear view of the satellite through to 54 east.
