No, not the length of Jade Goody's CV, this big hole in space that scientists have just noticed.

Just noticed even though it's a billion trillion miles long. They don't know what's in it, but there appears to be no matter. Basically, nothing.

I am not surprised. That is probably the end of space... or it could be the beginning of the start of another time.

Interesting. Any links to further references?

I always find these things incomprehendable, obviously coz my think brain cant handle such vast mysterious things.

but...what is nothing....there has to be somthing right?...when i hear the there was nothing before the big bang.....gggrrrrr

Correct me if I'm wrong, but space is warped (yes?), so couldn't it possibly theoritically be a tear in the wrap? I mean if that were the case, it would make it pretty mundane unless you could 'space hop' through tears.

So (theoretically) then, somebody should notice a second tear at some point.
All this is actually hypothetical, as it would take mankind a few billion years or more to get the the one observed, unless the other is in your own back yard, or on a map, ala Time Bandits.

It's being discussed on Radio 5 live now 11pm Monday...

Do a Google search...no specific link, sorry. :)

Well, if there ever was a big bang

then it would be a big hole as well ? :)

I trust this will not gravitate back to thoughts on Jade.
