Am looking for an Antenna calculator to build your own antenna for DVB-T/T2 signals. I've read something here on the Forum, but can't find it anymore.

Here is the formula........

Formula:

λ = C/f

Where,

λ (Lambda) = Wavelength in meters

c = Speed of Light (299,792,458 m/s)

f = Frequency

Or the calculator web site....https://www.everythingrf.com/rf-calculators/frequency-to-wavelength

So do you know what channel you want to listen to?

If not and you want to cover the whole FM band then you start at 98 MHz as the FM band covers 20 MHz, (88 to 108 MHz)

So for a full wavelength antenna for that frequency it would have to be 3.059 meters long.

Okay , but 1 of the members poste though is another calculator I can remember
It is for the Vhf band III

For that band all you do is to take the upper frequency (230 MHz) and deduct the lower frequency (174 MHz) this gives you 56, divide that by 2 for 28, add that to the lower frequency for a center band frequency of 202 MHz, that would give you a full wavelength of 1.484 meters.

You can make a simple "T" antenna using TV twin lead.
