You are very lucky to get that satellite with such a small dish. Peon has tried this position with his professional NWIEE 3.7m + custom made Ka band feedhorn and XMW R9216HDF and he got nothing at all. Not even a wee spike on the spectrum!

It is very, very sad as this is the only position he can get nothing at all.

all receivers can receive in KA sufficient to adapt the local oscillator to the frequency 20250 instead of the usual 9750--10600

Local oscillator frequency to set in the receiver depends on the Ka Band.

Band A 17250
Band B 18250
Band C 19250
Band D 20250

Always assuming one has the necessary Ka LNB to receive the Ka Band frequencies.

Ka is very focused on a narrow area right? So,where does Kenya for example transmits to?

It's being received here on the Astra 4A Ka Interconnect beam, but I'm unsure of the logistics of how the Kenya feeds are uplinked to that beam.

In a feed, I believe I've seen an uplink dish at the sports site, but where it's focussed on I've no idea. Can't be the Interconnect beam, too off footprint according to maps.
