I thought they'd been required to scale back these "back-door Channels?"
 
Apparently not this may be just a seasonal lease for a few months.

Anyhow, I've got them scanned in and suitably relabelled, all ready to go.
 
Whereas all other 28°E transponders, be it Europe or UK beam, have 12...15 dB on my T-55, this one only has a meager 8 dB...
It's enough of course with DVB-S 2/3, but less than I've ever seen.

I think part of the plan was to have them part time for events like the Olympics.

^^^ Looking forward to W. 2f uk... down to 3.3 db in evenings even with the 180cm, but still stable reception!

Hate to be a killjoy, but a static frame will have much less of a problem than a live broadcast with fast moving balls! Don´t think 3.3 dB will cut it:(
 
^^^ it does work well below 4 db ! even the red hd. Quite unique behaviour, hopefully will stay that way.

I set my motion flow to High on the Sony tv for all ball games works just fine.

OLYMPIC LINE 1 thru 9:
10744 H 23000: 1081, 1082, 1083
10862 H 23000: 1084, 1085, 1086
10876 V 23000: 1087, 1088, 1089

Edit: 1088 and 1089 showing CBeebies, maybe will move here, or Olympic streams later?

Just checked these out, and it´s good news for anyone round here who likes the Olympic Games. Signal is at least equal to and in some cases about 1.2 dB stronger than BBC South on 10818 V:)
 
The streams have been re-named BBC Olmp 1 HD to 8 HD
They are also now showing on Freesat 271 - 278

But they are 8PSK so require almost 2dB SNR more.
