Hi ,
I have read all the threads but no one seems to have had a problem with Magcamd.

I have the latest version of Magcamd, but i am unable to use my official Free xtv card in the card reader.

Do i have to config Magcamd ?

I have only had the Dreambox since friday so apoligies for another Newbie question :)
 
you tryed newcamd m8 it reads mine ok

I have downloaded and installed Newcamd 6.3 , It is working however it is not reading my Free xtv card , Any suggestions ?

I bought the Dreambox already loaded to get me going do i need to install any files for the card reader to work

The only Newcamd versions I have manage to make them work with my original cards are the 5.28 and the 6.01 with cardspider.I tried the 6.03 but it didnt work for me also.

I have just formated the drive by mistake :(

However a bonus of this is that i will have to learn to reload everything from scratch , i will try the other versions of Newcamd as you suggested.


Pant , Thanks I installed newcamd 6.2 and it is now reading my Free xtv and Redlight card :)
