Just Sharing This FTA Ukraine war zone feeds

I've always struggled with the Sky News feeds, don't think I've ever managed to catch them.

The CNN feeds on 4.8E have been active all day and still going now. At the minute one of them is showing the CNN crew sleeping!

CNN Kyiv Path 2 - 12610 H 4610
CNN Kyiv Path 1 - 12616 H 4610
CNN Kyiv Path 2 - 12622 H 4610
CNN Kyiv Path 1 - 12628 H 4610
Thanks for that :Y and all ok here in the Alicante area, España-------1.2m dish.Captura1.webpCaptura2.webpCaptura3.webp

Receiving these no problem in South Wales on my Gibby 1m and Mutant HD51, I did have the display go strange (Including the HD51 menus) but setting the box to Automatic Resolution and Force Deinterlace solved that.

unlockable at 9+ db ????

Yup I loose lock at about 9.3db for a 5/6 8PSK feed... I assumed that was about normal for everyone?

not normal - depends on your STB tuner i guess.

Hi all, this is my reception for the 4 CNN feeds in Rome (Italy), 1.0m dish, LNB BU. Just a good signal for all of them.

Minimum dB for lock with 8PSK 5/6 is 9.4dB :)

i stand corrected - i think i just meant, every STB has its OWN reading\interpretation of a DB level - i didnt know there was an exact science behind it.

thanks useful to know

Is the building where the Kyiv Path 2 feed is currently coming from on fire? There is a " May I have your attention please. A fire emergency has been reported in the building" message playing over and over in different languages and the building opposite (St Michael's Cathedral?) looks like there is a reflection of an orange glow. Very strange.

Just heard the camera men talking about a fire there last night and some explosive that had gone off below. Crazy

I'm not seeing anything at all (including the CNN feeds) on 4.8E or 4W - all channels on both sats down???

No it's on the air right now

Transponders 12616 and 12622 now seem to come from Lviv where the US Embassy has been moved.

I'm pretty sure they have always been there.

Update: the above was on the SX88 upstairs but when I went downstairs the SX88+ was working fine on all the 4.8E channels - maybe there's "something different/ wrong" about the SX88 because that's where I had a similar issue a couple of days ago:confused

My Mutant HD51 is a bit fussy with the CNN feeds on 4.8E, I've got the Kyiv ones working okay now after fiddling with the video settings with auto resolution changes etc, but the Lyiv feeds will sometimes cause the video output to go corrupted/interlaced/no signal and I have to reboot the box to get any display back as I can lose the GUI as well. This is on OpenVIX, I tried OpenATV and it had this issue on the Kyiv ones as well.
The Mutant reports these as 1440x1080i which is an unusual resolution so some boxes may struggle with this?

Which feeds specifically

The BBC HD showcase channel was originally broadcast in 1440x1080i, some early 1080i cameras recorded in this format too.

Most receivers should not have a problem with this resolution.
