Funny problem with radar cam and the c line

My Satellite Setup
1 GigaBlue Quad plus, 1 Dreambox 5620, MOTECK SG2100A DISEqC Motor, 120 cm noname offset dish, Humax 95 cm offset dish and a few UK digiboxes.
My Location
Somewhere where the Sauer is Kraut and the Wurst is Brat
I wanted to try the radar cam, hearing it is a good one. Basically I connect to my own dreambox that is sitting next to the qbox. The funny thing is, that if I try to connect using the dreambox ip in the config file like this:

C: 192.168.0.5 12000 user password

it does not work, but if I use the dyndns address instead of the ip address it does connect to the dreambox

C: dyndns.kickass.net 12000 user password

I tried a few things, I guess it has something to do with the network settings but I could not find what it is. The thing is that before I could connect to the dreambox using the incubus or the modified cccam/incubus cams.


Anyone got an idea?

There is a bug with the latest version.

It only works over the WAN and not locally.

I'm sure it will be fixed very quickly.

Go back to a previous version and it will work fine (but only allow 1 C line)
 
Lol that's explain it. It drove me mad, could not understand why!

No problem, got it to work with the dyndns address, but that is a pain in the butt as well aqo since a few weeks ago dyndns have changed something and the routers don't seem to be able to update it.

Have you experienced something similar?
 
hi.
i have also probs with connect to cccam.

cccam found...
system ready
[cccam 0] connect to server : [fail]
failed to start cccam client

but cccam on qbox works well
