post #254 is very strange, as gulfstream is in Florida and the caption shows the winner as 13/8, but in US there are no such odds, and america has no odds which would equate to 13/8
It looks like it is a TurfTV feed for their UK subscriber base as it carries the TurfTV logo. That could possibly explain why the fractional odds are displayed?

its amazing what they do with these feeds then, basically your saying that they have added some of the caption to the horserace, just for the uk.
One option would be that turf TV have received the feed into their studio via some means and are then re-broadcasting it after adding their logo and any other on screen graphics they wish to add. The other option could possibly be that the turf TV logo is added at source on behalf of turf TV, its a simple graphical overlay onto the video stream.
Considering the westerly nature of the satellite, the signal might not be intended primarily for their UK subscriber base, they may possibly be broadcasting it to overseas subscribers? Normally, their UK subscriber base receive signals from 33.0 East or 10.0 East in conax encryption.
