Who or where is Peon? It would be interesting to read something about the content of the transponders. According to their site it's meant for data transmission.

http://www.inmarsat.com/news/6911/

Peon is a satellite enthusiast who lives in eastern part of Slovakia. He`s in his late 50`s and passionate about DXing.

His satellite reports on lyngsat or flysat are marked as Onacila.

right, I had closer look at the screen shot. 250cm dish :-wow though a big dish is usually not better for KA ;)

..but from the coordinates I'd rather say he lives in Poland ^_^

A bigger dish will always be better no matter what band you want to use it for.
If it comes to Peon`s location, he lives near Michalovce, Slovakia. I`ve mentioned your comment to him and he said that he just made a mistake.... Location is important, but nobody`s perfect and then, he`s just an ordinary sat enthusiast who shares his reception results with the rest of us and to be honest as far as I know him publicity is not his cup of tea. That`s why I upload all this stuff for him and to be honest I enjoy it.

Anyway if we talk about details, do remember that Inverto Ka Sat was used for the scan, so polarity is oposite to the one that is shown.
LHCP polarization 13V
RHCP polarization 18V

He can also use a Patriot PRT - KA 211 lnb and fit it to Hughes OMT, but I guess it was fasterfor him this time to make this check by using the Inverto KA Sat lnb.

P.S.: All those sat parts on picture No 3 are mine. I`m out of sat business now, that`s why I enjoy cooperating with Peon so much!

Thank you for the information, he is more than welcome to come and join us :).

You´re right Martin! it would be cool to see Onacila also here. But if he speaking only via satosk it´s ok too. Already nice that "we got" Feedsat_DXer here sometime ago. New and refreshing (veteran hobbyistics though) perpectives are very welcome. Without underestimate none of You other older members for sure:)

I think I am pointed on this satellite ?, can anyone confirm ?
Thanks in advance
