I was looking round the net for the best price i could find a Dm 800 and found the TD DBS3000 for 179Euro. Is this the same box as on sale in Uk for over £300.

Yes, although I see you were looking for a DM 800 HD box - the TD is not an HD receiver.

Yeah I know its not but I thought I would put it up for those who are into the TD. I dont think i have enough "know how" for this box just yet. Its a quality piece of kit from all I have read and even considering postage costs it looks a cracking price.
 
It certainly is. A very robust machine that runs very cool. I've had mine for several years, with no sign of wear or tear despite being in constant use.
