Hi all,

ITV Meridian HD is currently FTA across Europe on 12226H DVB-S2 8PSK, 27500, 2/3.

SID 7502

Doubt it'll last - unless that transponder has been switched to a UK spot beam?

EDIT - title changed to avoid misleading people - A/S

Signal quality here suggests it's on the UK beam - it's as strong as the BBC transponders.

Nope, definitely Euro beam.

On a partially obscured zone 2 I'm getting 17db on 12226H, other 2F Europe beam transponders are around 14db. Is it possible it's on both beams?

Nope. Those dB differencies don't mean much. There are so many variables influencing (like upink antenna size, weather conditions on the uplink size, modulation used, BUC power, etc...).
Note that I am almost on the "0" line for UK beams reception getting 7 dB with 3.4m antenna from 12.363 V while getting fed with 16 dB from 12.226 H (both are Astra 2F).

That cursed 2F "European" beam which is impossible in my area, even on 2m dishes!

Flysat now says 12226H is on the UK beam :confused

it doesn t reach Carcassonne ,so it must be on the UK beam,
as now is typically low propagation period for HD uk beam and that itv doesn 't lock here ,
and neither do the other itvs HD.

Freesat's EPG has now been pointed to this new stream, so it isn't simply a test.

I'd have thought it'd be on the UK spot by now.
