Freesat, FreelyTV, Freely pleio, Location not good for 42E :(

Hi long time since I've been on.
Granddaughter can only have freeview, she doesn't need a R Recorder box, I've been looking at the manhattan freeview box's there a few models T1, T3, T4
I've done a bit of research info says T1 T3 SHOULD still work with freeview, does anyone have the basic manhattan boxs and do they still work today was looking at 2nd hand box from a 2nd hand refurb on line store for a freeview box.

I have one but please bare with me to give you the answer. But off the top of my head I'm pretty sure it works with the broadcast channels, the IP channels are hit and miss but they tend to be low quality output channels, I can give you a complete list if you need. Are you looking to buy one?

Manhattan box, look at the back to verify a HDMI connection, anything without (or with HDMI and SCART) is going to be of little use.

Does your grand daughter have the obligatory TV Licence and a broadband connection ?

yes she does to both she has a samsung tv its got a few hdmi ports, kids have broke the aerial socket, so was looking at freeview box to use aerial and connect to tv with hdmi, thanks

yes she wants something doing kids broke aerial socket on tv - so freeview box make use of aerial connect to tv with hdmi. thanks

I have the previous model, Manhattan Plaza HD-T2. Is there anything specific you want me to test?
