thanks i did reboot it but never had that error & it seems to read the cam as i can enter the CI menu & see the details etc

so i replyed explaining that the channels arent clearing so obviously something is wrong.

other sellers resend activation signals from reading online so dont get why they wont help
 
Just keep the card in the Official receiver overnight with signal ON on TVP1 or another National channel and it should activate .

sadly iv tried that for a few days & nothing
 
Hmm , it's a difficult one .. if you bought the card with a sub on it the seller should have tested it before sending it . That's what i do .

I know Conax change CAIDs sometimes , that might be the case if the card hasn't been topped up singe 2013 .. in that case the guy needs to call them to do a forced upgrade .

Best solution is say to him to refund you , sent the card back and have him make it work before re-sending it .. Tracked postage it's only £3 ..

thanks. yes it was sold as a sub for 12 months with the cam. they have asked for a pic of the card which i have sent, just waiting for their reply

The 12 months will be the legal issue with pre-activating the card before sending out,

they didnt, i had to email them the account number & viewing card number after i recieved them
 
I don't see any issue with a delivery being delayed a couple of days to make sure things are proper .. i know what i would choose .
 
iv sent the card & cam back to the seller & they have said there was a problem with activation, so they have activated it in their reciever & have said that it is working now. they rang me last week & we both agreed for them to activate it at their end & to send back once they have it working to save any future problems. so am just waiting for it to come back in the post now like. hopefully it works this time
 
I had to do the same with my Polsat card recently. I got an official decoder to do updates in if it ever fails again.

i have an Nbox 5800S i did try the card in it before but i'l hang onto it incase
 
all sorted, channels clearing. got there in the end
 
Can you post an image of the validated card page with dates ?
 
am not at home atm but will do when get chance
