As Pick TV is already FTA in SD on the European beam on 12070 H 27500 maybe the new frequency 11914 H 27500 is destined for encryption in HD for European subscribers ? flysat will update soon e-mail sent.

Pick SD on 11914H will remain FTA and not show football.
Pick SD on 12070H will likely encrypt tomorrow so that Sky SD customers can still view the Premier League games.
Pick HD on 12363V will remain FTA and will show football in HD - it is the only Pick service on a UK spotbeam.

Pick Ireland on 12148H will stay FTA and not show football.
Pick+1 on 12070H will also remain FTA and not show football.
 
Pick SD on 12070 will need to be in HD to attract customers to watch it,
The SD version proposed in 544 x 576 this is about as low a resolution as it gets :eek: to watch a Football game on a 40 to 50-inch TV in this format is not desirable,
When they can watch the match in higher quality on other available TV channels.
 
For everyone with an HD-capable Sky box, Pick HD replaces Pick SD on LCN 159, regardless of whether they have a subscription.
 
Pick HD now replaces Pick SD on VM Boxes version of Free Sat :)
