An amazing array of world flags on display as Pope Francis does his popemobile tour at the end of the ceremony.

Also interesting to see the security in place. Men in black all around the car as well as on any suitable balcony overlooking the parade.
 
We went to St.Peter's square on a Sunday morning during the last Pope's tenure: The place was teeming with fairly obvious "Plain Clothes Security" then - and they were armed with rather more than Walkie-Talkies.
 
Hope this spare capacity is put to use permanently soon.

Which reminds me when Pope Benedict came to Malta way back in 2010 and since He came for only a two days visit He moved around the place in his Pope Mobil from going from one place to another. These pictures I took when He came down my Street within
20 feet from my house. Well it's not often you see a Pope within arms reach!
