Help Required Sky Home Cinema plays CDs but not DVDs

I have a Sky HTS3200 Home Cinema unit - yes it was distributed by Sky UK some years ago. It has stopped playing DVDs (message after attempted reading = "No disc") but ill still play CDs, VCDs and MP3s.

Any ideas on what fault is.

The Laser diode for the DVD side is faulty, dirty or needs alignment.
The reason it still plays the others is it's different laser diode for CD's and it will have 2 or 2 IR sensors.

You may get away with cleaning in, but dont use anything like harsh as you will take the coating off it.

Would love to see pictures of this, never come across this model before.

Will take lid off and try cleaning with chanois swabs and isopropyl alcohol.

Will take photos and post them soon probably in a new thread with title "3 generations of home cinema units" with VCD, this DVD and bluray units
 
You might need to dilute it, some coating comes off with IPA.
