Lenovo G550 and Technomate Super Series 5200 and TM 500
My Location
Ireland
I have the above box connected to astra satellite, how do I go about getting sky channels?

You won't be able to.

To get Sky channels you need to pay for a subscription.


The TM5200 is a FTA only receiver anyway.

1) Disconnect the TM5200 & throw it away

2) Ring the nice people at Sky ireland and ask them to set you up with a Sky box

3) Pay oodles of money for your monthly subscription

4) Repeat (3) for as long as you want to watch the pay tv services

Nooo!, sell it on ebay, it would cover your first months Sky subscription at least.
 
Or stick another dish up and use it for one of the popular satellites like 19e or 13e.

Yup as my esteemed colleague says the info if you want the pay channels is correct - and that what we have interpreted your question to be asking - you wouldnt believe how many times we get asked "how do I get free Sky?" every year .

If its an incorrect interpretation then apologies, but if you dont ask EXACTLY what you want then you get the wrong answers.
