Is T*S still available in the clear? I use Fusion 2 on a stick with mgcamd. I get Prem** in the clear but the banner for T*S channels shows a padlock but not the 'Encrypted' notification. Any suggestions please?
Also what is the current recommended or favourite method of clearing encrypted channels on a TD?

An encryption change canine, not viewable now.

Try the latest hisat image, you can download the latest k*y changes through a server at the touch of a couple of buttons :)

Llew

Thanks Llew, I'll try Hisat. Does that image require use of the USB stick at any stage?
Canine.

No, but to help keeping your /var percentage low, it's a good idea to have your plugins on a stick.

Llew

Make the most of TPS - its only a few weeks now until the final closedown of the service!

I've installed the Hisat image without encountering any problem. Plugins are in the var menu. Can I just move them over to a usb stick or are other actions necessary?
canine

Just ftp your plugins over to your PC folder, then go to the mnt folder in root to find your USB stick (click on sda1 and the name of your stick), then ftp the plugins folder back over to your stick.

Then delete the plugin folder from /var.

Probably a quicker way, but that should do it.

Llew

Thanks again, Llew.
Using my Flash FXP I was able to drag plugins ftom the var folder across to the usb stick in the opposite pane of the open FXP page. It seems to have worked.
Is there a risk that an increase in plugins will overload var?
canine.

No Canine, most .so plugins are small files. As they're on your stick, there's plenty of space for them.

How can I see TPS in Triple Dragon?
I have the last image TD man 15/09/08 and update software with use yellow OK yellow.

As mentioned earlier, an encryption change means TPS is off limits. The only way now is (or was) using the SBCL application to read the tps.bin file using vplug on your PC. SBCL acts as a server between your Triple Dragon and your PC.

I haven't used it recently though, may not still work. In any case you need to update tps.bin every couple of days or so.

Please I need the web where they download the software and manual configuration SBCL

Configuration details available here (Post#41)-

http://www.satellites.co.uk/satelli...ots-answers-questions-tips-tricks-rtfm-2.html

For the TD, edit the newcamd.conf file in /var/tuxbox/config/newcamd/newcamd.conf -

# CWS = uds 1 dummy dummy
CWS = linux.domain.com 10000 dummy2 dummy2 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
# CWS = 127.0.0.1 100000 dummy3 dummy3 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
CWS = uds 0 local local
CWS = (Your PC's IP Address) 6001 root dragon 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv

SBCL can be downloaded from here -

Llew, help me:
1.-The newcamd.config=
# CWS = uds 1 dummy dummy
# CWS = linux.domain.com 10000 dummy2 dummy2 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
# CWS = 127.0.0.1 10000 dummy3 dummy3 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
#CWS = uds 0 local local
CWS = 192.168.2.1xx 6001 root dragon 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
CWS = 192.168.2.1xx 6001 root dragon 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
#
# newcamd optional settings for using control word servers (cws)

(192.168.2.1xx=IP my PC)

2.- Config SBCL v1.1b

1. Install SBCL and amend the path in plugins\vplugin.ini to match
2. Put the latest TPS.bin, tps_fns and v_tps.db into the plugins folder
3. Start SBCL (click on the SBCL .exe)
4. Click on the tuner tab and enter your TD IP address
5. Set protocol to newcamd
6. Click the START button
7. Select vplug from the menu bar and select ACTIVE
8. Select vplug from the menu and select SHOW MONITOR

What is this wrong?. Can not get the SBCL connect with the TD. Is the configuration newcamd?

Is port 6001 open on your router? Also allow it through any firewall program you have.

I'm trying SBCL again, will post any success I have later.

Llew

I have it working OK now, not sure what your problem is.

Remove the TPS keys from the softcam.key file in /var/keys (007C00)

Obtain the latest TPS.bin from DVBupload and place in plugins, and set TPS_AU to '0' in vplug.ini in the plugins.

Then go to a TPS channel in your TD and see if you get a result.

Llew

I fail to connect the PC with the TD.
Maybe you have not properly set up the TD for sharing. I have just set newcamd.

I notice you have two CWS lines active. Don't think it matters though.

My newcamd config -

# CWS = uds 1 dummy dummy
CWS= 192.168.x.x 6001 root dragon 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
# CWS = linux.domain.com 10000 dummy2 dummy2 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
# CWS = 127.0.0.1 10000 dummy3 dummy3 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
#CWS = uds 0 local local
CWS = 127.0.0.1 11001 local local 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv
CWS = 127.0.0.1 11002 local local 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan cardserv

In var/keys/camd.cfg make sure G =04 -

# share Mode
# 00 Pure emu
# 01 Pure emu
# 02 Pure emu
# 03 alle network clients
# 04 newcamd share
# 05 radegast share
# 06 camd35 share(not in use)
G: { 04 }

Hello, Llew, I managed to connect the TD with the PC.
"14:04:37: Connecting IP 192.168.2.xxx to TunerTCP

In var / Keys, I have installed new TPS.bin and folder plug-in also the same TPS.bin.
In the softcam I have erased all the keys of 007C00. But it does not work. Should I set the vplug?.
