Newbie Here tv goes blank

Hi when i turn my freesat box on it goes from red to purple for a second then to blue light on but tv goes blank ,i have to press reset button on the freesat box for five seconds tv then goes to freesat on screen press home button and then the picture come on eventually , some mornings it works okay any help
 
Which Freesat box? Humax ones (and probably others) tended to have flaky power supplies. A recap usually sorted it.

Could be dish alignment or LNB.
