- Past setup:
• 8-ft dish covering 68.5°E, 75.0°E (Ku), 78.5°E, 83.5°E, 90.0°E, 93.5°E (Ku), 100°E, 105.5°E, 115.0°E
• 6-ft dish at 49.0°E
• Receivers: COSHIP CDVB2000B, Dish TV Zinga

Setup
Receiver: VU+ Zero 4K | Image: OpenATV 7.6Satellite: Al Yah 1 (52.5°E)LNB: Universal (set to Universal LN
Problem
Al Yah 1 has 13 known TPs. My other chinese dvbs2 receiver finds all 13 and gets 200+ channels.VU+ blind scan finds only 6 TPs → ~95 channels. Missing 7 TPs completely.
Noticed: detected TPs show ~850 MHz frequency offset vs actual frequencies.Example: TP expected at 11938H appears as ~11088H in scan results.850 = 10600 − 9750 → looks like LNB is staying in low-band during high-band scan.
Tone mode behaviour
• Tone OFF → 6 TPs found, ~95 channels (partial — only low-band TPs) even those tp displaed as 850 Mhz added not matching with Lyngsat data
• Tone ON → TPs scanned but zero services/channels found
• Band mode → no TPs detected at all
1. Is the 22kHz tone switching broken in VU+ Zero 4K blind scan? (850 MHz offset suggests LNB not switching to high band during scan)
2. Is tone mode OFF/ON/BAND behaviour a known issue on Zero 4K?
3. Should I skip blind scan entirely and use predefined TP scan from satellites.xml?
4. Any workaround to get all 13 TPs and full channel count?Any help appreciated. Happy to share logs or scan output if useful.
