Has anyone tried the new xcrypto 1090? Does it clear TPS and Multivision? I tried one 2 days ago but it was showing 1089 and didn't clear TPS or Multiv. I has seen one today saying the 'good one'. And how does one load a softcam key into and x-cam? To what block does one load it, or does it depend on the key? Plse enlighten me. With the new 1090, for those who have tried it, does one need to load the softcam key before it will clear multivision and tps?

I loaded the 1.090 and it also showed 1.089, but didn't clear anything until i messed around with the emu menu on the CAM.
I eventually loaded the Free One in Gagliostro's thread at Satdudez and now it shows 1.090, but on the Dreambox has no sound when the channels are encrypted, even though it does decrypt. You need to upgrade the bootloader for this version though and it gives you DPTV, FreeX and one other which i can't remember.

I need to be able to pick up chanels in English (thats all I understand) I have a goldvision 3000CI but now cant see anything but the Netherland channels ie; SBS, YORIN ect on astra, Matrix cam no longer will pick up tps/multivision, looked at a new goldvision titanium cam and another called golden interstar , the sales man told me that the golden interstar is the best one, can any one please advise, which to buy It is a must that I see TPS, Multivision, Astra Netherland channels and any other :show or Movie" channels that speak english, I need to buy this within the next few days before my wife leaves me please help , thanks....

Neither of those are CAMs, or at least not as far as I know. The current X-CAM files will receive TPS, as will the Dragon, but it is really in a state of flux at the moment and anyone who "needs" to receive encrypted channels, should seriously consider following the conventional route of a subscription card, nothing else is guaranteed.
