Thanks moonbase, the link isn't that clear, when you click buy the import duty is added to your invoice duty is paid there and then, instead of getting a letter/postman wanting extra payment.

Good idea really, noticed John had to send payment before items posted, saves waiting extra days and messing around sending payment to realise items in certain cases.

Not trying to be a pain ...but I'm just not getting this ..
I took it as far as actually paying ..without actually pressing the buy button ..and this is what I get ??
Like I said ..am I missing something here ??

= £37.39p ..plus whatever the bank charges for conversion ...
maybe a £1 max

VS, I think it may be because one LNB + shipping is below the threshold for duty. In the calculation is shows customs as 0.00 If you go to the postage calculator it adds customs charges if you increase the quantity to 3 or more. It's cheaper to buy only 1 or 2 per order.

Actually, what I said is not the full story. You get shipping discount which works for you. What it needs is a spreadsheet to choose the optimum quantity but even I'm not sad enough to do that.

So in this case ...unless you can do a deal with the supplier where he/she will generously factor the shipping and import duties into the bulk item(s) cost ...
you could theoretically lose out ..
Don't ya just love barriers to trade..

As I see it, extra charges will apply when you go to pay for the item ?

Just going off previous lnb purchases from the states ..
Namely Titanium C1PLL ..
What you payed at checkout is the final tally ..
No extra charges were applied ..and this is much the same arrangement.

Makes a great deal of sense ..as when I've tracked US purchases ...very often I track the item through Kentucky..

The order for 8 x Zinwell C Band LNB's has been placed. The cost delivered to the UK including import duty was £264.28p, a cost of £33.03p per unit, excluding UK local postage to end users. I will create a PM topic to continue the multi buy.

I think that there might possibly have been a few more takers if I had created a separate multi buy topic on its own in the forum. Having the multi buy as a series of topics within the AV-COMM topic might have only caught the eye of AV-COMM interested members?

I thought there'd be more interest even though it's in this thread, for that price anyone interested in C Band should of got one if only to compare against the more common DRO and PLL LNBFs.

What's in the box:
1 x Zinwell C Band LNB
1 x Blue End Cap
1 x Dielectric Plate
Flat Scalar Ring (metal, seems decent quality)
1 x Set Of 4 screws.
