Have no knowledge of Butterflies or Moths ... but just spotted this tonight ... think its injured , it seems unable to fly - or walk without falling over :-(

It's a Fritillary of some sort (Small Pearl, most likely).

But the port-side wing has been severely nibbled or otherwise damaged. Presumably that's not the full extent of its injuries.
