With all these crashes, I assume they're using Microsoft Windows?

...and mandatory lengthy pit stops while it updates, shuts down, reboots, then updates again, reboots..................

Shame to see the 2020 W Series cancelled - there were some good races from the lasses last year

There is an W-series erace season on Thursday nights for the next few weeks. First race was last right & can be found on youtoob

Trouble with the W series was that all the cars looked the same, apart from a few areas of colour, this made it difficult to pick out individual drivers you were trying to follow in the race. Then after you worked out which driver was in which colour car, they go and change every race. I know each driver had random cars & engineers assigned to them for each race to keep it fair but at least let them have their own consistent livery.

As for esports the le mans 24hr is on this weekend with an amazing line up of drivers. Partial coverage on eurosport.

No more free F1 on RTL after this season :-doh

Another nail in the F1 coffin. With Williams & McLaren in financial trouble the prospects don't look good.

I did see an analysis recently that said words to the effect we could actually lose 4 or 5 teams in the very near future.

Williams are effectively dead in the water - its only a matter of time until they go under.

The others listed in the danger zone were Alpha Tauri / Alfa Romeo- Sauber / Hass / Renault & interestingly Mercedes

Toto Wolf buying shares in another team certainly fuels the Merc rumours. Would not be surprised if they returned to being an engine supplier only, especially now they have a factory Formula E team as well.

All 4 American races have been cancelled this afternoon Canada / USA / Brazil / Mexico

Whole race weekend is FTA on Channel 4 HD B)

For sure the stars were aligned in Grosjean's favour today.................

In the voice of BBC Newcastle commentator John Anderson: He's a lucky, lucky boy.

It was an absolute miracle he didn't die from the impact, didn't get sliced by the barrier and then managed to escape the inferno without help. As for the move which initiated the crash, it was typical Grosjean...
