Advice Needed Paint types for channel master

do you think this paint would be ok, and not affect signal on a CM dish....?

water based, and non metallic...

im going for a camoflauge look, green first.....(ive ditched the cow idea) - will add brown and black later.

I would go with any flat enamel paint, a water based may not last too long as the dish does face South and sometimes directly into the Sun.

You dont want any paint that would reflect Sun light (infra-red) onto or at the LNB, it would cause overheating problems, so any flat sheen paint rated for outdoor usage would work.

shoud be water based acrylic - i used water based on my 1.2m and its been fine, but cost me a lot! want to paint rather than spray this time
 
I have used Rust-Oleum outdoor paint on a dish and applied it with a roller.
It is a xylene based paint but xylene solvent is cheap enough, you do not need to buy the Rust-Oleum thinners if any thinners are required.

You can buy a pack of 4" rollers with handle and tray as a kit.
They are very cheap. I used the sponge ones and threw away the rollers after use.

Update:
Reading the channel master instructions I am not sure a xylene based paid woud be suitable, the solvent might interact with the compund of the dish.
Your water based option looks to be the one to go for.

For the front, I started with a coat of white spray primer (2 sprays).
Then 2 coats of white gloss paint with a small roller (not water-based).
For the rear I recommend a varnished paint to fix the fiberglass.

Use only matt and non-glossy metal-free paint, otherwise the sun will burn into the LNB cap holes :-ohmy

My test have only 1 year old.
I will check this weekend and tell you.
But my paint is not so glossy i think.
And we don't really had sun in Paris from one year... :)
 
I recommend that you do NOT use any type of gloss paint on a satellite dish, if you think I'm wrong then try it on a spare dish (if you have one lying around) and point it directly at the Sun, you can cook the LNB or your self if you get across the focal point.

With a good sized dish you can make a nice solar cooker. (you have to move it a bit at a time)
